Laurie Williams

Laurie, originally from Goose Creek, SC, is a 1991 graduate of the University of South Carolina. After teaching in Lexington District 2 for nearly 30 years, she is now retired and enjoying time with her family. She has been married to Nathan for 31 years with two sons- Wesley (28) and Brett (22) and a beloved dog, Roxy (a 7-year-old Rottweiler). She enjoys crocheting, gardening, boating, visiting the beach, singing, and is a member of Northside Baptist Church in Lexington, SC.
Her “why” for Refreshing Outlook is to be the hands and feet of Christ, helping others see the hope that comes from Him when faced with difficult and troubling circumstances. After the loss of her son, Brett in 2017, her faith and dependence on Christ is what brought her through and continues to strengthen her family daily. Laurie was introduced to Refreshing Outlook through Charlie and their connection to baseball and loss of their sons. The Will Sports Complex holds a special place in Laurie’s heart, and she looks forward to serving, supporting, and encouraging others throughout their journey while helping to provide a fun and nurturing environment for so many to enjoy.
